At Arredo3 sustainability is naturally bound up with the materials used to make our kitchens and the relevant furnishing accessories. We have an established custom of proposing eco-friendly worktops, such as those made of Abitum, Laminam and Cosmolite®, which are all part of our Gaia eco-sustainable set-up.
Now, for Cosmolite® tops we have added new finishes to our assortment: 17 solutions – both glossy and matt – in light and dark neutral shades, with stone and marble effects. We recall that the product is a truly new material, made entirely of industrial waste, compacted by means of polyester resin, a large amount of which derives from renewable plant sources. This specially devised production process yields sturdy slabs capable of withstanding thermal shocks, abrasions and acids, complemented by a highly appealing design and functional properties.
Cosmolite® surfaces are sustainable, innovative and socially ethical, since they have a low ecological footprint: they do not require any extraction and always guarantee the use of adequate safety devices when they are machined. These properties are beneficial in limiting recourse to primary natural resources and help to obtain products characterised by a responsible life cycle.
