Stand-outs from Arredo3’s new releases for 2022 include new finishes for Asia, the modern collection with a contemporary design that combines function and ergonomics. Created for those seeking a kitchen where innovation meets tradition, Asia enables pairings of technical materials such as quartz and stainless steel for countertops with warm wood grains, ideal for doors on base units and wall units or even breakfast bars. Amongst these, veneer finishes take centre stage, also in the vintage version, with six new colours updating the range: Off-white, Ice, Nude, Noce, Coke and Lava. And there is more: the same finishes are also available in the new “Asia ribbed-effect”, for use on grab profiles or handles for complete design freedom. The term “ribbed” refers to the vertical grooves across the door’s veneer, creating a uniform striped effect. These features enable “Asia ribbed-effect” to be used on base units and drawers or tall units and top units for a beautiful continuous effect from top to bottom.
The wood that features strongly in Asia designs supports sustainability, a value which Arredo3 promotes with its interior solutions. In fact, the collection includes veneering made from beams amongst its finishes, part of the Gaia Range and available in natural oak, safari, parchment and ebony finishes. Perfect for kitchen-unit doors, this material offers refined looks in an eco-friendly solution, as it is recovered from structural beams from demolished buildings. This means that it has knots, cracks, uneven holes and splits, a testament to the long life of the wood, and a key stylistic feature of this material. The unique nature of each piece is the beauty of this type of veneer.
